At first, when I first read the synopsis for this book. I was really intrigued to find out how the main character (Lenora) was able to win it big and lose it all within a year. She seemed to be like any other women in today’s society. Lost when it come to her own personal self-esteem trying to hold on to her man that had cheated on her a couple years back, always second guessing her self is she worthy to have him in her life does he love her blah, blah, blah, and with all those insecurities it eventually lead to her own personal destruction. To be honest half way thru I stop reading. I personally felt she was a stupid, I would have never told a man I’m interested in let alone a man I barely know that I won the lotto.

Upon first reading the book, I was so sure that the character Lenora would not change and would stay true to herself and her friends. (Wishful thinking...) But of course she ended up getting wrapped up in the lifestyle or more so the ATTENTION that she was getting. Even though they had a shaky beginning, she had a good man that was career minded just like her, but her self esteem would not let her see through her own insecurities... and she ended up losing it all!
